The annual Card Player Poker Tour tournament organisers have made a public statement that this year the tour will also make a stopover at Casino Royale based in Maho Bay, St. Maarten with the exciting Card Player Cruises to enhance the experience for players. The tournament is scheduled to hold 22 poker competitions all of which will be played out at the premises of Casino Royale. Guests can enter the tournaments with pay-ins or play at the casino’s slots and card tables. While confirming the event, Zack Lawmaster, of Card Player Cruises stated that they are teaming up with Card Player Media to host the events as a grant island extravaganza to end the final leg of the tour.
During this tournament which will begin on April 24 and end on May 3, the main events will be NL Hold’em, and Hold’em Survivor, Omaha Eight or better and PL Omaha Tournament followed by other small qualifier events to shortlist strong players for the big events. The highest buy-in of $1650 is for the main NL Hold’em Main event that will start on 30th April and end on 3rd May which can give winners a jackpot amount of $200,000. To give interested players a free package to the main event, Carbon Poker is currently running qualifying programs and is giving away 10 prizes for the lucky which will be worth $3500 each.
Casino Royale and the CPPT tournament
This tournament is held at a different venues every year and though some venues have been repeated, it is being held at Casino Royale for the first time as it is the biggest on the island and is spread across 21000 square feet. Guests can partake of the numerous gaming options at the Casino Royale, which has 410 slot machines and video poker in varied themes along with 21 card tables and exclusive area for high stakes games.
